Here are my favourite make-up leeeewks I found on the Gram last month. It’s super great to see that you all are still doing your stunning make-up while we’re still on lockdown! Bored in the house, but also glamorous in the house. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Lateley I’ve been super in to matte eyeshadow, so I started a matte series! For part one I used yellow, bright orange and purple. I saw this beautiful look on @sydneylilian and I had to recreate it! It’s an easy look to do, as long as you blend, blend and blend. Don’t be afraid to take the purple a little up in the crease.

Sooooo I was doubting whether I should post this look or not, because my camera had been acting up lately. The pictures turned out even more orange than with the Barbie Pink Look, so I had to edit them. In real life the eye make-up looks waaaay more taupe. I’m so sorry you guys can’t see it. I was actually really proud, because I (again) stepped out of my comfort zone and used cool toned colors.
But life is not perfect and neither am I, that’s why I still wanted you guys to see this look. Often there is a picture portrayed on Instagram and (beauty)blogs that everything is super glamorous and everything always turns out perfect. But, that’s not true. At all.
No worries though, I am taking a photography course to fix this on going problem with my camera, so that I can learn everything about all the technicalities and improve my work.

These are my favourite make-up looks I saw on IG last month. I am absolutely obsessed with the look of @vanessa_gyimah! The green combined with the red is so stunning, without giving a Christmas vib . I hope you love it as much as I do!
After 237 days, we’ve finally come to the last day of January! My inspo of the month series are back in 2020. Lately I’ve been seeing the ‘soft glam’ trend on the Gram, which I absolutely love! But, I still love a good pop of colour here and there. So, here are my favourite make up looks I’ve come across on IG in the last month. I hope you love it as much as I do!
In my last post I talked about stepping out of my comfort zone. And because life starts when the comfort zone ends, I kept pushing myself out of my comfort zone and used PURPLE. Yep, that’s right purple (keep in mind I never use purple and don’t even have any purple clothes). But I must say, I’m quite happy with the outcome. I don’t like a heavy eyelook with a bold lip colour, so I opted for a nude pinky lip to complete the look.
About the application: start with a soft pink or peachy shade as the transition colour. Use lights blending motions to apply all the crease colours, so that you can gently ‘build up’ the colours, instead of heaving too much pink on your crease at once.
