Matte Series PT. 2: Classic dark brown!

¡Hola Guapas y Guapos!

For part two of the matte series, I recreated for the classic dark brown matte look. This look is absolutely one of my fav looks to do, because it’s super easy and versatile! Daytime, nighttime, winter or summer, for this look it doesn’t matter. For the lips I opted for a orangey/brownish matte lipstick that completely finishes the look! But because this look is so versatile, you can also finish it off with a dark brown or nude lip (glossy or matte).

For my face make-up I’ve used a new application technique and so far I’m loving the results! I’m going to perfect it and let you all know. Stay tuned.

Foundation: Huda Beauty #FauxFilter foundation in brown sugar 410g mixed with Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in syracuse.

Concealer: Too Faced born this way multi-use sculptin concealer in golden beige (highlight).

Setting powder: Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder to bake under the eyes.

Face powder: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Setting Powder in honey.

Bronzer: Fenty Beauty instant warmth bronzer in caramel cutie.

Highlighter: Fenty Beauty killawatt freestyle highlighter duo in afternoon snack and mo’ hunny.

Blush: NYX high definition blush in bronzed.

Setting spray: Urban Decay all nighter make up setting spray.

Eyes

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in ebony, NYX natural tinted brow mascara in espresso & MAC Cosmetics studio finish concealer in nc42 to clean up the brows.

Eye shadow primer: MAC Cosmetics pro longwear concealer in nc25. Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder to lightly set the concealer.

Eyeshadow: MAC Cosmetics Art Library: Flame-Boyant. In the crease: dada issues, rule and dali wood. On the lid: everyone’s darling and embark. Lower lash line: dada issues, rule and dali wood.

Mascara: Catrice glam & doll mascara in blackest.

Lashes: AliBaba lashes (can’t find the sellers link).

Lips

Primer: MAC Cosmetics Prep+Prime lip.

Lip Liner: NYX suede matte lipliner in cold brew.

Lipstick: soft matte lipcream in Berlin.

Here are my favourite make-up looks I found on IG last month. I’ve noticed that lately I’ve been more in to a semi/soft matte face make-up. Safe to say that I’m kind of over the glowy look haha. And now that we’re in summer, with all the heat and humidity, it’s even more important to stay matte. We don’t want our make-up to sweat off our faces or to transfer. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Lateley I’ve been super in to matte eyeshadow, so I started a matte series! For part one I used yellow, bright orange and purple. I saw this beautiful look on @sydneylilian and I had to recreate it! It’s an easy look to do, as long as you blend, blend and blend. Don’t be afraid to take the purple a little up in the crease.

Mascara: Catrice glam & doll mascara in blackest.

Lashes: AliBaba lashes (can’t find the sellers link).

Lips

Primer: MAC Cosmetics Prep+Prime lip.

Lip Liner: MAC Cosmetics lipliner in whirl.

Lipstick: NYX soft matte lipcream in Rome and MAC Cosmetics creme in your coffee.
