¡Hola Guapas y Guaupos!

It has been a while, but I’m BACK! Yes yes, ready to slay the new year and I’ve got some nice things planned *wink wink*. Anyways, I played around a little around with my make-up and came up with this look. This is a look you can wear at night or during the day or whenever you want, because you can do whatever you want. Break a rule while you at it! Let me know what you think of this look and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Concealer: Maybelline Instanst Anti-Age Eraser in nude, LA girl HD pro conceal in creamy beige  & LA girl HD pro conceal in orange corrector.

Setting Powder: Ben Nye luxury powder in banana.

Face Powder: MAC Cosmetics sheer pressed powder in nc55.

Contour: NYX matte bronzer in deep tan.

Highlighter: NYX born to glow liquid illuminator in gleam and MAC Cosmetics in global glow.

Blush: NYX high definition blush in bronzed.

Setting spray: Urban Decay all nighter long lasting setting spray.

Eyes

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in ebony, Kiko eyebrow designer gel mascara & MAC Cosmetics studio finish concealer in nc42 to clean up the brows.

Eye shadow primer: MAC Cosmetics pro longwear concealer in nc25.

Eyeshadow: crease & outer corner: Kiko high pigment wet and dry eyeshadow in 03 as the transition color. Morphe 12nb darkest color in the crease & Urban Decay blackout in the outer corner. Lid: Mac Cosmetics paint pot in soft ochre to carve out the lid, Kiko artic holiday glacial eyeshadow in 02 and Kiko glitter eyeliner in 01 on the lid.

Eyeliner: L’oréal Paris color rich le kôhl in 101 midnight black.

Mascara: Kiko unforgettable.

Lashes: Bonneke Lashes in Damn Daniel.

Lips

Lip Liner: Mac Cosmetics lip pencil in Whirl. Lipsitck: Mac Cosmetics creme in your coffee. Lipgloss: Nyx intense butter gloss in chocolate crepe.

¡Hola Guapas y Guapos!

One of the classics in make up land, yes the black smokey eye. And maybe also the most feared. Why? Cause a smokey eye gone wrong can look like you just got beaten and have a black eye because of that. Blending is KEY for this look (blending is always key, but especially for this look). And please don’t blend it with a silver eyeshadow, we left that ugliness behind in 2005! Try to to blend it with brown eyeshadows in your crease so the black eyeshadow will not look too hard on your face.

The way you blend everything together is also very very important. I learned this trick from a video I watched from the best aka Desi Perkins (I will post the link down below).
Keep in mind practice makes perfect. This look can be quite difficult, so don’t be afraid if it’s not perfect the first time. Play around with different shades of crease colours and master the art of blending! Let me know what you think of this look and show me your smokey eye look!

Morphe 35k palette top right color, Too Faced truffled and Morphe 12nb darkest color in the crease & Urban Decay blackout in the lower crease. Lid: Kryolan cream liner in ebony as the base and Urban Decay blackout on top of it to set it. Lower lashline: Too Faced peanut butter, Morphe 35k palette top right color, Too Faced truffled and Urban Decay blackout.

Eyeliner: L’oréal Paris color rich le kôhl in 101 midnight black.

Mascara: Kiko unforgettable.

Lashes: Bonneke Lashes in Pablo Lashcobar.
