The last month of 2020 is finally here! It felt like the horror year of 2020 was never ending, but the end is in sight! And I don’t know about you dolls, but I want to go out with a bang. Full face make-up beat, check. Nice outfit, check. And why, some might ask. Because I want to bring in the new year energized with positive vibes. So, these are my favourite make-up leeeewks I found on the Gram for December 2020. I am suuuper happy to see that the soft glam/matte make-up trend is here to stay. And don’t get me wrong, I still & will always love a colourful eye make-up look. I hope you love it as much as I do!
For part two of the matte series, I recreated for the classic dark brown matte look. This look is absolutely one of my fav looks to do, because it’s super easy and versatile! Daytime, nighttime, winter or summer, for this look it doesn’t matter. For the lips I opted for a orangey/brownish matte lipstick that completely finishes the look! But because this look is so versatile, you can also finish it off with a dark brown or nude lip (glossy or matte).
For my face make-up I’ve used a new application technique and so far I’m loving the results! I’m going to perfect it and let you all know. Stay tuned.

Here are my favourite make-up looks I found on IG last month. I’ve noticed that lately I’ve been more in to a semi/soft matte face make-up. Safe to say that I’m kind of over the glowy look haha. And now that we’re in summer, with all the heat and humidity, it’s even more important to stay matte. We don’t want our make-up to sweat off our faces or to transfer. I hope you love it as much as I do!

P.S. I didn’t do a fashion/beauty inspo of May, because I didn’t want to disrespect all of the Black Lives Matter protest that I wholeheartedly support.
Here are my favourite make-up leeeewks I found on the Gram last month. It’s super great to see that you all are still doing your stunning make-up while we’re still on lockdown! Bored in the house, but also glamorous in the house. I hope you love it as much as I do!
For quite some years now I have dealt with acne, to be precise since I was about 12. Luckily my skin is all cleared up now! These are my tips to help you in the fight against acne:
Visit a dermatologist. This is the absolute key in fighting acne. The dermatologist can tell you what of acne you have and prescribe a recipe for medicine that works best with your type of acne.
Consistency. Acne will not go away if you treat it once every couple of days. You need to be very consistent and probably treat it twice a day.
Drink plenty of water. This helps you purify your skin from within.
Nutrition. Some foods and drinks actually cause/trigger acne, such as pork, dairy and sugar. Other foods like cucumber, nuts and fatty fish can help against acne. (This can differ from person to person)
Hygiene. Do not and I repeat do not go to sleep with make up, this will only clog your pores. Use clean towels and change your bed sheets at least once a week, so that you can prevent bacteria getting on your skin. If you don’t have proper hygiene, your acne will come right back even if you treat it with medicine from the dermatologist.
Regular facials. During a facial your skin will be, among other things, deep cleaned, whiteheads and blackheads will be removed and the blood circulation will be improved.
Skincare. Find a good skin care routine that works for YOUR skin. What works for your friends skin doesn’t have to work for your skin. (The medicine that the dermatologist prescribes you should be a part of this).
If you have any questions about fighting acne feel free to ask!
Lateley I’ve been super in to matte eyeshadow, so I started a matte series! For part one I used yellow, bright orange and purple. I saw this beautiful look on @sydneylilian and I had to recreate it! It’s an easy look to do, as long as you blend, blend and blend. Don’t be afraid to take the purple a little up in the crease.

Sooooo I was doubting whether I should post this look or not, because my camera had been acting up lately. The pictures turned out even more orange than with the Barbie Pink Look, so I had to edit them. In real life the eye make-up looks waaaay more taupe. I’m so sorry you guys can’t see it. I was actually really proud, because I (again) stepped out of my comfort zone and used cool toned colors.
But life is not perfect and neither am I, that’s why I still wanted you guys to see this look. Often there is a picture portrayed on Instagram and (beauty)blogs that everything is super glamorous and everything always turns out perfect. But, that’s not true. At all.
No worries though, I am taking a photography course to fix this on going problem with my camera, so that I can learn everything about all the technicalities and improve my work.

After 237 days, we’ve finally come to the last day of January! My inspo of the month series are back in 2020. Lately I’ve been seeing the ‘soft glam’ trend on the Gram, which I absolutely love! But, I still love a good pop of colour here and there. So, here are my favourite make up looks I’ve come across on IG in the last month. I hope you love it as much as I do!
